The Helambu Region has the third largest Sherpa settlement in the Country. This trek follows a circular rout from Sundarijal, pass the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve to the Sherpa Village of Tharke Ghyang. The scenery is almost always that of mountains and fir and rhododendron forests. During a night halt in Dhulikhel, one can view distant panoramic mountain ranges.
