Located at just 800m above sea level, it is close to the 8000m Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges and there some outstanding views to the north. Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak), which is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, is right next to the city. Pokhara is 200km west of Kathmandu. It is a great place to relax after a long trem.

Chitwan District is one of Nepal’s 77 districts and is located in Bagmati Province’s southwestern corner. Bharatpur, Nepal’s second-largest city after Kathmandu, serves as the country’s administrative capital. It has a population of 579,984 people (279,087 males and 300,897 females) and occupies 2,238.39 km2 (864.25 sq mi) in 2011.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu. Transfer and check in at hotel.

Day 2: Visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Budhanilkantha.

Day 3: Visit villages of Kirtipur, Panga and Patan City.

Day 4: Drive to Nagarkot enroute visit Changunarayan and Bhaktapur.

Day 5: Visit Dakshinkali and Godawari. Back to Kathmandu.

Day 6: Drive to Raft put-in-point for rafting in Trishuli River. After lunch, end raft and drive to Pokhara.

Day 7: Free day in Pokhara.

Day 8: Drive to Chitwan.

Day 9: Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Transfer to airport and fly out.
